In Corpus Christi, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Texas vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 9 am–6 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (361) 225-4093. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 71 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in Corpus Christi.

Great Service, Very Professional & Super Affordable! As soon as I pulled in with my car, I was quickly greeted and asked what problem I was having. He stepped away from a car he was working on to look at my car right away. He communicated the whole time about what all work I needed done & explained everything to me where I could better understand what was going wrong with my car and what needed to be fixed. Took my car here thinking I needed muffler repair to find out it was something under the hood (in which I thought he'd turn me away and send me elsewhere) but to my surprise, they work on way more than just mufflers! Overall great experience and wasn't charged over the top for repair (like other places would). I came here bc of a reccomendation by a friend and I now I have become satisfied customer & would reccomendation URI Muffler to anyone needing quality affordable work done on their vehicle! 5 STARS!!
